KM Series Bearing Lock Nuts –  | Metric Thread

KM Series Lock Nuts are precision-machined bearing lock nuts used in conjunction with MB Series lock washers to securely retain rolling element bearings on shafts. They feature a slotted face that engages with the tab of the MB washer to prevent loosening under vibration and dynamic loads.

• Material: Carbon steel / Alloy steel (case hardened)
• Thread: Metric fine thread (right-hand)
• Available Sizes: KM 0 to KM 20

Typical Applications

• Axial retention of bearings on shafts
• Gearboxes, electric motors, and spindle assemblies
• Conveyor and rolling mill drives
• Used with MB Series lock washers (sold separately)
